@ Faith: yeah the tuna is surprisingly nice with the fattoush actually. I cook it in a skillet with some salt, pepper, cumin, corriander, and lemon juice then just dump it over and stir it up! The marshmallow is basically just a package of mini marshmallows melted in the microwave (check them every 30 seconds) with two tablespoons of water, then you add powdered sugar until you have a dough! If you want to use your hands, you should coat them and the surface with shortening, but I used a spoon for most of the mixing. It keeps in the fridge with plastic wrap for a few weeks.

@ Hajar: Thanks so much!! Alhamdulillah most of it even tasted good! lol

@ Majda: Lol... :P

Could I get your recipe for the beef stew? It looks really thick, the way my husband likes it. I cooked a lot when I was staying with my parents and bored last year. My skills improved tremendously.

Stacy: Should I e-mail you the recipe or just post it on a comment somewhere? Whatever is easiest for you! My e-mail is findingguidance@gmail.com

Assalamu Alaikum,

The chicken adobo looks fantastic. AbuS picked up a philippines cookbook from work awhile back and I was all excited to try it, but it seemed most recipes called for pork - even the vegetable recipes!

Wa alaikum asalam Rahma,
Yeah I know what you mean about the pork thing...
However I THINK (not positive) that you could probably substitute something like lamb for the pork and get something that is pretty tasty... Lamb tastes better anyway, lol.
