How to Hijab: Step 4/7

Salam!

Bismillah

Step 4 is switching out jeans and slim pants for skirts and maxi dresses. I know some people consider pants to be proper hijab, but I don't/they aren't. I will be explaining why in the next post so stay tuned.
Now we're getting pretty modest right! Now, apart from our hair/neck no part of our body shape is apparent or on display, alhamdulillah. We are getting there!

Salaam Alaikum!
I love maxi dresses! Unfortunately the only ones I have found so far are the short ones =( They are great for parties (with other women of course =) Same goes for skirts, the only ones I find are short and tight skirts =/

You're only on step 4 of 7 and it looks to me like all you're missing is adding the headscarf!

Rene: Maybe it is a Europe thing...
Or maybe because I'm really short lol. We have them here, but it is a LOT easier to find them online than in stores.

Candice: lol yes we are getting close now! There is one more post about the Qur'anic requirements of hijab and then we get to cover our hair in step 6 inshaAllah. :-D

This is the phase of hijab that I'm perpetually stuck in. I have never been able to consistently cover my hair, but dressing in a feminine and modest way has made a big difference for me anyway.

Stacy: I think the world would be a better place if every non-muslim lady was stuck in this phase of hijab :-P
modesty really does make a big difference in life though alhamdulillah!
