Salam!
Today I did all five prayers, plus an extra three rakaat because I wanted to make sure I knew how to do three :-P
I feel so good and so excited, like I really accomplished something alhamdulillah!
I also went to the masjid for the khutbah and met a few more ladies all of whom were very nice, Masha'Allah.
I slept through my class, but otherwise it was a really good day!

Salam, havnt read your blog in a while so incase I missed your conversion sorry.. I hope you convert soon.. yeah no pressure to be my sister soon lol.. guess as long as you find praying a rewarding experience your on the right track
Very good for you. Have you memorized all the prayer too? I love the concept of timed prayer in Islam because I do feel that it helps keep God on your mind and keep you away from wrong deeds.
Salam Stacy,
I have memorized *most* of the prayer, but sometimes I cannot remember all of the supplications in Arabic, so I will just substitute in the meaning in English for what I can't remember and pray that Allah make learning easier for me. I love the timed prayer too and it really does keep your mind in the right place! :-)
Oh and for the first few days I had everything written on a sheet and kind of used that as reminders when I couldn't remember :-P it worked for me.
